RECITAL FEES

To perform all Participants must pay Mandatory Recital Participation Fee + Costume Fee.

Auto Charge on your Studio Director Account when your Electronic Form is Submitted

Recital Participation Fee : $35 per student

Sibling Discount $15, per additional student

Dancer Costume Fee: $80 per student/per routine

These charges run automatically on your Studio Director account February 18th.

Costume + Participation Fees are non-negotiable, non-refundable regardless of disinterest, conflict, etc. Once you’ve agreed and purchased a costume, it’s yours to keep!

Students will learn a routine in the class they are already enrolled in. If student is enrolled in more than one class, please specify on your Agreement Form which classes you are choosing to participate in. 

If your class has more than one style : Example: Tap and Jazz … Only 1 style will will be chosen for your routine. If a class does not have enough participants to perform, families will be notified and classes will run regularly.

Once Recital Agreement is completed. Your Costume Fee + Participation Fee will auto-charge on your Studio Director account Feb 18th.

COSTUME INFO

Alta Performing Arts chooses + orders all Recital Costumes and distributes in class. Costumes are based on Staff choice and choice may not pre-released. Student’s measurements are taken during class time. Costumes are yours to keep and depending on costume style, Dance Costumes may arrive with complimentary tights. Costume fees will auto-run on your online account Feb 18th. After Feb. 18th, Costumes may not be guaranteed for on-time arrival. Late Sign Up participants will need to add expidited shipping fees to their total. Costume payments are non-refundable. Any exchanges or size issues must be reported to the studio at least 7 days prior to receiving your items, this includes tights.

SHOES : Students MUST have proper Dance Shoes for class and for Recital. Dance shoes you have already purchased are acceptable. Hip Hop Students must wear clean sneakers for both class + Recital, please.

DADDY + ME ROUTINE - $15 per dancer

Daddy & Me Routine : Dads get on your dancing shoes! Dads and students have the option of learning a Daddy & Me routine together. This year you will first receive a video to practice at home. We will also hold specified rehearsals on Saturdays, beginning in March. Due to our studio’s full schedule Daddy and Me Reherasals will not run every Saturday. Rehearsals are from March - May. This is an upbeat/hip hop style routine, beginners welcome! If your Dad cannot attend rehearsal: Feel free to ask an Uncle, Grandpa, etc or another family member. Daddy + Me Students MUST be enrolled in an Alta Performing Arts class.

• Enrolled Students participating must be in at least 1 Recital Routine, Pay Recital Fee + Purchase Recital Costume. Mandatory : Dads must be able to attend our Dress Rehearsal Weds, June 6th.

  Student Costume : Students wear the Costume they’ve Purchased for their class routine with Recital Shirt over Costume. Dads wear specific outfit with Recital Shirt. Dad or family Dancer must be 18+ and sign and agree to Alta Performing Arts policies and waivers upon arrival.

  RECITAL TICKETS

• All audience members must purchase a ticket to view our live show. This includes families of our students. We are thrilled to be performing in at Newark Memorial High School! Ticket Pricing is based on participant count & venue to help cover the cost of our rental. Further details on tickets will be emailed, posted on our social media and listed on our website. Scroll Below for FAQs… Parents, it is vital and important that you purchase tickets for your students Recital as soon as they go on Sale. It is not the responsibility of Alta Performing Arts to save or reserve tickets for students families or Parents.

MUSICAL THEATER

Group Costumes : Est. $75

Solo/Duo/Trio Costumes : Your Choice / Confirmed with Miss Monique

Your Group routine(s) & solo/duos will be performed at Recital. All Musical Theater students WILL purchase a Group Costume this means girls may also need tights, depending on costume. Group Costumes may be ordered from our Dance Costume websites or we may send you costumes email and you will order for your child.

Students with Duets/Trios should organize their performance costumes together. We can discuss in class/after class together. Solo + Duo costuming is purchased/organized on your own and with your performance partner. All costumes must be confirmed/reviewed with Miss Monique. Musical Theater Students are also eligible to participate in Daddy & Me routine. We ask you still fill out your child’s size info below.

Unable to Participate due to conflict, etc ?

Please email us before making any decisions on your spot in class. All classes run regularly, regardless of Recital performance and rehearsal. Students that attend class but do not participate in our Recital remain active members in class and are always included in all choreography and placements.

If classes do not have enough participants to perform in a routine, you will be notified.
